Professional Engineer (SCADA or Railway Networking) Location:
Sacramento, CA (Onsite) OR McClellan Park, CA (Onsite) Responsibilities
Certify the Design: Due to the geography of the project, some designs must be sealed and signed in the State of California, some in the State of Nevada, and some in both. Ensure Regulatory Compliance to all relevant and applicable international, local, state/provincial, and federal codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., building codes, railway industry standards, electrical or safety standards). Maintain Design Integrity. Oversee Quality and Safety. Provide Professional Expertise. System Engineering: This includes specific strategies, plans and concepts (for example Earthing & Bonding Concept, Earthing & Bonding Plan, RAMS etc.) including all studies (for example Traction Load Flow and Short Circuit studies). Traction Power System (TPS): TPS consists of outdoor High Voltage (HV) Intake Substations, Traction Power Substations (TSS) [types TSS, Autotransformer Station Paralleling Point (ATS-PP) and Autotransformer Station Sectioning Point (ATS-SP)] and 12kV Auxiliary Power Substations. Static Phase Converters (SPC). Overhead Catenary System (OCS). Power SCADA. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related discipline or equivalent. Licensed Professional Engineer (Utility) in the States of California and Nevada. Pay Range
Pay Range Minimum: $47.21 per hour Pay Range Maximum: $65 per hour Additional Information
