Overview

Site Reliability Engineer - IT Capacity Management at Synechron. The candidate will provide data analytics and capacity forecast models. Understanding of hardware infrastructure, architecture and disaster recovery. IT Service Management (ITSM). Advisor for system and application performance improvements with other partners and stakeholders. Preferred understanding of Agile methodologies, Splunk data mining expertise, and demand data/BVI concepts. Responsibilities

Participate in multiple projects with a specific set of deliverables around performance and capacity. Engage in Risk and Regulatory Management and Information Security Generalist Skills/Information Security Management as part of project involvement. Review technical project documentation to identify performance and capacity impacts to the infrastructure; provide support and consulting for identified projects. Collaborate with other support teams to develop forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted components. During performance testing, review saturation test results and artifacts (e.g., AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat, application logs, Performance Center results) to measure and interpret capacity thresholds/limits. Support capacity-related BAU activities associated with audit requirements. Requirements

10+ years of experience in building responsive Web user interfaces (note: confirm if applicable to capacity management role). Minimum 3–5 years of IT Capacity Management experience. Experience with AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat. Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies. Knowledge of mathematical/statistical and quantitative analytics. Knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices and COBIT framework. Ability to foster a culture of support and knowledge sharing. Desired Experience
