GENERAL FUNCTION The Associate Optometrist creates value by delivering and leading the execution of NECE, partnering with the Store Manager and Field Leadership to foster a safe, motivating work environment that encourages growth and success.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Provide excellent Patient/Customer Service through NECE.
Assist with greeting patients and answering phones.
Conduct services per Clinical Protocols and standards.
Ensure accurate diagnosis and recommendations.
Build positive Doctor/Patient relationships.
Coach Associate Doctors on protocols and audit charts.
Communicate effectively with staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Identify patient needs and recommend products/services.
Train staff in areas like orientation, front desk, pre-testing, and clinical protocols.
Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
Provide timely feedback and address performance issues.
Collaborate on staff performance reviews and store success metrics.
Recruit, forecast staffing needs, and supervise inventory and claims processing.
Maintain the office appearance and ensure visual standards.
Basic Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry
Knowledge of current optometric technology and practices
Strong communication skills
Organization and time management skills
