Overview

Senior Technical Recruiter - Program Manager Our client, a leading aerospace and defense metal additive manufacturing supplier, is seeking a Production Planning & Control (PPC) Manager/Senior Manager to own the heartbeat of the factory—from plan to ship. You'll lead master production scheduling, finite-capacity planning, shop-floor product flow, and inventory control to ensure on-time delivery, predictable cycle times, and strong production execution. This role is highly cross-functional, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to align capacity, material, and priorities. It emphasizes production planning and shop execution, not customer-facing program management. What You’ll Do

Lead Master Production Scheduling (MPS), dispatching, WIP control, and capacity planning. Drive daily/weekly production control cadences, ensuring ≥95% On-Time Delivery and ≥90% schedule adherence. Partner with Supply Chain to align materials and protect production flow. Deploy and refine Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for real-time WIP visibility and digital travelers. Own inventory governance (RM/WIP/FG), cycle counting, accuracy, and reduction of excess/obsolete. Monitor KPIs (OTD, queue time, WIP turns, yield, constraints) and lead root cause analysis for misses. Improve flow through constraint management, queue reduction, takt/pitch, and Kanban strategies. What You Bring

7+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, with strong experience in production planning/scheduling and shop-floor control. Deep knowledge of ERP/MRP (BOMs, routings, lead times, finite scheduling). Proven success improving flow in high-mix/low-volume environments. Ownership of inventory control (cycle counts, governance, E&O reduction). Strong Excel/Power BI skills; ability to build clear dashboards and reports. Working knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP processes, and configuration/traceability. Preferred

Experience with additive manufacturing (LPBF workflows). Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools. Compensation
