Job Summary The Senior Director of Medical Oncology Outpatient Clinical Services at Arizona Center for Cancer Care (AZCCC) serves as the chief administrative leader for outpatient oncology operations across AZCCC and its health system partner’s integrated cancer care network. This role oversees strategy, operations, and continuous improvement for infusion centers, physician practices, and outpatient clinics, as well as leadership of the oncology research and clinical trials program. The Senior Director partners with physicians, clinical teams, and research leaders to optimize access, quality, and patient outcomes. Duties And Responsibilities

Provides executive leadership and oversight for all outpatient medical oncology operations across AZCCC and its health system partner’s integrated cancer care network, including infusion centers, physician practices, and hospital outpatient department (HOPD) clinics. Drives the strategic alignment and execution of oncology services to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. Oversees the oncology research and clinical trials program, including compliance with NCI guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and all applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborates with physician leadership and the Executive Medical Oncology Committee to develop and implement operational strategies that improve access, outcomes, and overall performance. Partners with physician investigators and research teams to integrate clinical research with patient care, supporting innovation and advancement in oncology treatments. Provides direct supervision and mentorship to clinic operations leaders, including practice administrators and department managers, ensuring operational goals are met across all sites. Monitors financial performance, develops annual budgets, and implements cost-control measures while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Ensures compliance with AZCCC policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards across all outpatient oncology programs. Fosters a collaborative and accountable culture by promoting communication, transparency, and professional growth across interdisciplinary teams. Leads initiatives to optimize workflows, staffing models, and patient flow to achieve operational excellence and improve the patient experience. Serves as the primary liaison between senior leadership, physicians, and partner organizations, ensuring alignment of goals and strategies across entities. Uses data-driven insights to evaluate program performance and identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation Represents AZCCC and performs other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals and promote best practices in oncology care delivery. Qualifications/Education Requirements

Master’s degree in health administration, business administration, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and progressive leadership experience in outpatient medical oncology operations preferred. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of oncology operations, including infusion services, physician practice management, HOPD operations, and compliance with NCI guidelines and GCP standards. Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in outpatient medical oncology operations. Licensure and Certifications
