This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in psychiatric care who thrives in a busy practice and is passionate about helping individuals with mental health needs. Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including detailed patient histories and mental status examinations. Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens for psychiatric patients, ensuring appropriate follow-up and care. Provide follow-up care in 15-minute appointments, addressing any medication adjustments, side effects, and progress. Handle 30-minute transfer appointments, facilitating smooth transitions of care for patients referred to our practice. Conduct comprehensive 45-minute intake appointments, gathering essential patient information for effective treatment planning. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and medical support staff, to provide optimal patient care. Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with practice policies and HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with the medical team to adjust treatment plans as necessary and provide ongoing patient support. Qualifications:

Required:

PAC (Physician Assistant-Certified) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in psychiatric care or related field, including prescription writing. Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions. Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices. Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Exceptional communication skills with a genuine desire to work with diverse patient populations. Preferred:
