Primary Duties And Accountabilities

Inspect, install, repair, and replace pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain water supply and waste disposal systems.

Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve them efficiently.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and applicable electrical and plumbing requirements during installation and repair, identifying and correcting issues as needed.

Operate tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, reamers, threading machines, and welding equipment.

Provide rough estimates to customers on repair costs.

Maintain an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain plumbing fixtures and piping.

Promote the sale of other services offered by Constellation Home to customers.

Minimum Qualifications

High school Diploma or GED

Experience working in plumbing service

Valid gas fitter's license

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of residential plumbing service, including local plumbing and gas codes, tools, and materials

Advanced skills in the servicing of hot water and steam boilers

Advanced ability in the usage of sewer cleaning machines

Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

Average physical ability (bending, stopping, and climbing ladders)

Ability to lift and carry objects of various weights

Ability to work independently, or collaboratively with minimal supervision

Journeyman trade license in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
