Overview
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer supports LOB objectives to increase process efficiency, improve quality, and reduce operational risk through automation with a focus on QA automation, production support, and platform and automation maintenance. The RPA Engineer designs, develops, tests and supports all process automations and collaborates with business units to implement solutions using RPA (UiPath), Python programming, API integrations, Document Understanding (UiPath/Kofax/OCR/ML/NLP), BPM (UiPath, Kofax) and AI. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Responsibilities
Develop automation solutions using UiPath, including RPA projects, document understanding, task mining, BPM projects, production support, QA testing and automation. Create efficient, well-structured and maintainable code. Support QA testing and QA automation for robotic process automations and other platform teams by deploying new QA automations and delivering enhancements. Support Kofax Total Agility and RPA systems, troubleshooting related databases, on-prem servers, Total Agility, RPA, and Repository Browser. Conduct platform and system maintenance and upgrades to ensure stability, security and effectiveness of RPA software. Provide production support, troubleshoot development roadblocks, environments and production issues; lead issue resolution with business and development teams; assess automation feasibility and timelines with LOBs. Research and analyze business problems to determine suitable intelligent automation solutions and communicate with business customers, strategic partners and development teams. Create and update solution documentation in a timely fashion. Support production fixes, enhanced automation processes and QA automations within change control processes. Act as subject matter expert for RPA software and resolve related issues as required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

5+ years of experience related to RPA automation with advanced to expert knowledge of UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate; strong preference for UiPath. 2+ years of experience related to test automation using UiPath Test Suite and Test Manager (preferred) or other test automation tools. Fundamental knowledge of Document Understanding using ML tools. SQL proficiency. Preferred: object-oriented programming experience in Python or C#; API development; experience creating AI models (ML, NLP, etc.); automation experience in IBS, Salesforce, and/or Banking. Academic
