$24.00 - $28.00 /hour (est. $49,920 - $58,240 /annum) As a core member of Caramoor’s Marketing Department, the Social Media & Marketing Manager is responsible for executing Caramoor’s social media strategy and other key marketing and communications initiatives. The role involves developing and maintaining a social media strategy and content calendar, managing website updates, leading email marketing strategy and execution, coordinating with community partners, third-party vendors and contractors, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to execute Caramoor’s marketing strategy. The Social Media & Marketing Manager operates as a thought partner who works closely with colleagues across departments to develop creative marketing solutions. Key Responsibilities

Social Media:

Create and manage a content calendar with visibility to, and input from, all Caramoor departments. Social Media:

Create engaging posts and serialized content in collaboration with the Digital Content Manager and the Graphics Coordinator. Social Media:

Monitor channel growth and develop/implement strategies to increase followers and engagement. Email Marketing:

Manage Caramoor’s email marketing strategy through the creation of weekly newsletters, targeted emails, automated email flows (including pre- and post-show emails), and other communications to support programming, development, special events, the Rosen House, and other promotional efforts. Manage a process to ensure accuracy and function on Caramoor’s website. Website:

Manage all site updates and content, build seasonal events, and ensure continuous event control. Website:

Monitor Google Analytics to leverage audience behavior and inform marketing decisions; present findings and recommendations. Website:

Coordinate with digital marketing partners to maximize SEO efforts and returns. Website:

Monitor the general marketing mailbox. Advertising:

Collaborate on the creation and execution of print and digital advertising campaigns, including copywriting, list building, and communications with agency and local media partners. Advertising:

Manage the timeline for deliverables and monitor analytics for all campaigns. Cultural & Community Engagement:

Oversee and contribute to cultural partner development and audience outreach, including researching prospective partners, attending off-site events, and fielding cross-promotional requests. Additional Responsibilities:

Collaborate with staff on strategic planning, creative direction, and communications strategies to increase earned revenue and attendance; manage grassroots/out-of-home marketing with local businesses and partners; support internal reporting; review all marketing collateral. Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of marketing experience in the arts and entertainment industry, or in a nonprofit or agency setting, with experience spanning strategic planning and creative execution. Software and Technology Expertise:

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and/or similar content management systems. Personal Attributes:

Passionate marketers with creative vision and a diverse set of skills as a content creator; willingness to collaborate with all departments, vendors, contractors, and partners. Working Conditions:

On-site work required for a minimum of three days per week (including mandatory in-person days on Tuesday and Thursday) in Caramoor’s administrative office on an 81-acre campus; ability to work evenings and weekend events, particularly during the summer season.
