This Real Property Specialist position is located at

Cape Cod SFS, Massachusetts . The role involves overseeing, managing, and providing accountability for all real property at Cape Cod SFS in accordance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) directives and Air Force instructions. Responsibilities include validating Real Property Inventory (RPI) data accuracy, operating, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing all Real Property (RP) and Real Property Equipment (RPIE) according to federal, state, local regulations, and manufacturer’s recommendations, documenting all maintenance actions, and conducting physical inventories. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Establish and maintain accountable real property records. Ensure compliance with all Performance Work Statement (PWS) directive requirements for RP and RPIE. Maintain accurate cost accounting and real property reports. Manage and implement Cape Cod’s RP program under the Civil Engineering Manager’s direction. Interface with management and government customers at all levels. Document maintenance and repair actions, maintain cost records of engineering time, materials, and resources. Ensure timely and accurate material order processing. Validate RPI data accuracy, completeness, and update supporting documents. Perform physical inventories and update real property records with other DoD components. Review, update, and coordinate documentation for the Real Property Accountable Officer (RPAO). Support real property assessments and participate in technical meetings. Conduct or support installation and site boundary inspections. Compile documentation for new construction projects and manage facility transfer and acceptance processes. Verify facility usage during inspections and participate in utilization and cost analysis studies. Comply with safety and security regulations and participate in quality control programs. Perform general housekeeping, safety, environmental practices, and maintain logs and files. Educational/Training Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in real estate or related field with two or more years of relevant experience. Knowledge of project planning, engineering, cost accounting, real property procedures, procurement, and supply procedures preferred. Licenses or Certifications

Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Supervision

Works under the general supervision of the Civil Engineering Manager. Work Environment

Normal office environment. May require extended hours, weekends, and travel. Physical Demands

Walking, sitting, typing, bending, lifting (up to 20-30 pounds). Clearance Requirements

Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance, requiring US Citizenship.
