The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to procuring the best quality equipment, goods and services at competitive rates.

MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Research, interview and negotiate with suppliers of materials, equipment or supplies, and evaluate them for availability, lead time, price, quality, and terms of sale. Prepare and solicit Request for Proposals and evaluate based on price, lead time, existing agreements, and/or competitive bidding. Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Responsible for maintaining purchase order requisitions and change orders inside of Vista. Serve as liaison between vendors and finance to resolve financial challenges, and other issues as they arise. Review purchase order claims for conformance to company policy. Collaboration with staff members to meet the requirements. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers. Arrange for the disposal of surplus materials. Approve invoices and bills for materials, subcontractors. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES :
Strong communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Understanding of construction materials, equipment, and project lifecycles. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Educational And Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the construction industry preferred. Must have and maintain a valid state issued Driver’s License with driving record that meets Saiia’s risk management guidelines.
Work Environment
Works in an office environment with standard office equipment available
Travel
This position works from the office and is not required to travel regularly to meet the position’s normal duties and responsibilities.
