Overview
We are a nonprofit programs support girls to be physically and emotionally healthy and strong. Girls on the Run will be hosting a team at Danehy Park this fall beginning the week of September 19th. Sign-up Information
Ages: 8 to 13. Grades 3rd grade through 8th grade. We have programs for 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade students who identify as girls. Families/caregivers can register online by selecting their participant's team from the dropdown and filling out the prompted information. We are also excited to continue to offer a payment plan option for online registration, which allows families to pay 50% of the program fee at the time of registration, and 50% at least 30 days later. This option is for online registration only and is available regardless of the program fee selected on through the sliding scale. Registration deadline dates provided are for participation in the Fall program. We will release new information about registering for other seasons in the future. Our sliding scale rates are $35-$225 depending on income. We also offer a few scholarships to the families most in-need. We also have a few scholarships. Financial Aid and/or Scholarship Available Sliding scale based on income When registering for the program, all families will have access to our sliding scale, through which they can select the program fee that corresponds to their household income. If any family needs financial assistance beyond that offered by our sliding scale, please reach out to our Program Team for assistance (gotrgbinfo@gmail.com). Location

This fall's programs generally run twice per week for 8-9 weeks starting in September. This year practices will begin the week of September 21st, 2025 and conclude with our Celebratory 5K on the Boston Common on Sunday, November 16th, 2025. Each team typically decides there own schedules so days and times are subject to change. Currently practices will happen: Morse Elementary:
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM. Danehy Park:
Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Additional information
Girls on the Run is coming to Cambridge this spring and registration is open on a first come first serve basis. It's more than a running program - it's designed to support girls' physical and emotional health and growth. Girls will have fun making connections and meeting new friends. Girls will get outside, set goals, and train for a 5K while learning intentional decision making, how to use their voice and become confident leaders. Activities include: social emotional learning, journal writing, goal setting, emotional regulation, walking/running/skipping at your "Happy Pace". This program runs during the school year.
