About the Role We’re the Stitch Fix word people and the internal experts on how to say things. This means we translate complex programs and products into engaging and fun marketing copy (emails, ads, social) that drives clients and prospective clients to engage with our brand and product: personal online styling services.
While words are a key part of our work, writing isn’t all day-to-day. There\'s much more to this role than wordsmithing. We use data to inform how and what we write and spend time researching, thinking, tweaking, formatting and brainstorming. The goal: creating relevant, interesting and informative stories that build a strong emotional connection with our clients.
Our Copy team is made up of quick learners who are collaborative, versatile, curious and care deeply about quality, and open to thoughtful feedback.
Responsibilities
Craft engaging and on-brand Growth copy across all channels, collaborating with designers and marketing partners to create content across platforms
Write engaging, strategic, conversion-oriented copy using our style and copy guide, ensuring consistency and addressing client pain points
Participate in brainstorm/concept meetings; collaborate to solve problems; welcome feedback and polish iteratively
Be proactive in finding information and solutions, asking thoughtful questions
Work closely with Design and Marketing to generate forward-thinking ideas and meet briefs to a high standard
Work on a variety of Growth-focused projects including email, site landing pages, paid social, advertising, and more
Handle multiple projects simultaneously, stay on task, and meet deadlines
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in copywriting for Growth marketing at an agency or in-house
Clear, relatable, jargon-free writing authentic to audiences
Passion for creative copy and ability to interpret core messaging in various ways
Interest/experience in fashion, pop culture, beauty; track potential vibe shifts
Experience with digital-first Growth marketing campaigns that tell product stories and yield measurable results
Understanding of SEO use and utility
Attention to detail in copy
Self-starter with innovative and detail-oriented work style
Ability to craft effective tactical communications with marketers and designers

Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary and benefits. The salary range for US-based employees is $51,400 – $85,500 USD, aligned with geographic areas and factors such as background, experience, location, and performance.
