Executive Assistant to Corporate Bank CIO

Join Barclays as an Executive Assistant to Corporate Bank CIO, where you’ll provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including multi-layered calendar coordination, travel coordination, and meeting logistics. You will act as a trusted liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders and prepare and handle confidential documents, reports, and presentations. You will also support team operations, including onboarding, event planning, and expense tracking and reporting, and anticipate needs while resolving scheduling and communication inquiries. This role is based in Whippany, NJ.

Responsibilities

Management of senior executive calendars and timely responses to meeting invitations and requests.

Planning and arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.

Anticipating the needs of the senior executive, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion.

Managing day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, filing systems, ordering office supplies, annual leave records, distribution list management, and organisational tasks.

Management and facilitation of senior executive meetings.

Qualifications

Extensive experience as an executive assistant supporting executives within the financial industry.

Budget and expense reimbursement experience.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders.

Operational agility: overseeing logistics, reporting, and follow-up with minimal oversight.

Salary information: Minimum $80,000; Maximum $115,000. This range reflects base salary or base hourly rate and may not include other compensation or benefits.

Barclays employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and other paid leave for qualifying circumstances. This position is eligible for an incentive award.

Purpose of the role: To manage the executive's schedule, handle correspondence, prepare presentations and reports, and provide other administrative support as needed.
