Testing Program Lead - Commercial Loans and Migrations / QA Testing
Our banking client is seeking a Testing Program Lead to oversee and coordinate all testing activities related to the migration of commercial loan portfolios from multiple servicing and accounting systems to AFSVision. This individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of end-to-end testing across multiple stakeholders, ensuring a successful conversion through mock cycles and go-live. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 7 years of bank operations or technology
experience, or
High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience . 5+ years of experience leading or managing testing during enterprise-wide system conversions and implementations. Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex testing programs. Critical thinker, very organized, ability to resolve problems independently, work with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio). Preferred Strong knowledge of
commercial loan operations, servicing, and accounting processes . Experience with AFSVision, FIS ACBS, LoanIQ, Jack Henry, or similar
commercial loan servicing
systems. Experience using
Microsoft ADO or other enterprise test case management systems
to manage testing scripts and results. Experience with
project management and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project). Prior experience with large-scale data conversions and regulatory controls in a banking environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and plan for all phases of the loan conversion (mock conversions, dress rehearsals, go-live). Define testing scope, objectives, success criteria, and timelines in alignment with overall migration milestones. Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing activities, coordinating with operations, risk, technology, accounting, origination, and closing teams. Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to define test cases, scenarios, and expected outcomes. Ensure all business and technical requirements are translated into effective test scripts and scenarios. Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to program leadership and stakeholders. Oversee execution of test cases during mock conversions, validating results and ensuring data integrity. Track, triage, and manage test defects and conversion issues through resolution. Ensure root cause analysis and retesting are completed for all identified issues. Provide regular status updates, testing dashboards, and issue logs to project leadership. Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing activities, results, and lessons learned. Support audit and compliance documentation requirements related to the conversion. Lead final validation testing and sign-off activities prior to go-live. Support cutover planning, post-go-live monitoring, and stabilization. Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for business-as-usual (BAU) teams.
