Precision Ag Specialist

AGRILAND FS is looking for an individual who is accountable for consistent, profitable precision sales growth including grid soil sampling, variable rate fertilizer and seed recommendations. Individual will also organize and manage all precision agriculture data and information with the AGRILAND FS sales team and support team. Core Responsibilities: Process variable rate fertilizer and seed recommendations Manages all precision information and data collection Troubleshoots and assists salespeople with recommendations in the field Serves as an expert for all Agvance Sky software functions Build and execute precision agronomy business plans with all locations Responsible for increasing sales of companywide grid sampling acres Understands, promotes and utilizes ag precision services to grow agronomy business Collaborates with Crop Specialists to provide actionable data insights What we need from you: Normally requires a bachelor's degree in ag related field or the equivalent thereof, and/or 5 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate applications working knowledge Experience creating variable rate fertility and seed recommendations Demonstrated knowledge of seed, fertilizer and crop protection products Experience with productive software execution and problem solving Excellent math, problem solving and analytical skills Proven professional communication skills that influence others to act Demonstrated planning, time management and organizational skills Demonstrated the ability to be self-directed, make decisions, and work in a collaborative environment Must have and maintain a valid driver's license What we offer our team: Company vehicle Solid retirement future with a 100% company-funded Pension Plan at no cost to you, plus an additional 401k with company match Paid time off, sick pay, and paid holidays Competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more Opportunity to take a strategic leadership role in a dynamic, customer-focused organization Opportunity to make an immediate impact with a strong team dedicated to success Are you a good match to join the AGRILAND FS Team?
