We are seeking an After-School Instrumental Music Instructor to provide individualized and small-group music lessons with a focus on piano instruction for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Additional experience with other instruments, such as drums or guitar, is highly desirable but not required. This role is dedicated to after-school instrumental instruction only. Deliver after-school piano lessons for students in Pre-K through 5th grade Teach additional instruments (e.g., drums or guitar) depending on your skills Design age-appropriate music lessons that support skill-building and student engagement Prepare students for performances or showcases Maintain a consistent and professional after-school learning environment What We Are Looking For
High school diploma required; degree in Music, Music Education, or related field preferred Proficiency in piano required; ability to teach drums and/or guitar is a plus Prior experience teaching private or small group instrumental lessons Ability to work independently and manage small groups of students after school To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position involves walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, listening, reading, writing, and speaking English. The role may require lifting and occasional pushing or pulling.
