We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving financial planning, reporting, and insights for the Arizona Cardinals. This role will support critical decision-making by building automated dashboards, streamlining reporting processes, and partnering with department leaders across the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will also lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial packages submitted to the NFL, while providing actionable analyses on team operations and long-term strategic initiatives. Primary Job Duties
Serve as a key contributor in the team's financial reporting process, including detailed annual budgets, interim projections, monthly cash flow forecasts, and long-range planning. Design, build, and maintain interactive financial dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), leveraging SQL and API integrations to automate data pipelines, improve reporting accuracy, and provide executives with real-time insights to drive decision-making. Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages required by the NFL, including interim updates, long-range plans, and full-year submissions. Develop a deep understanding of departmental budgets, actively participating in the review and approval of forecast adjustments compared to budget and actuals. Perform analytical reviews, financial modeling, and ad hoc analyses for department leaders to evaluate key aspects of the business, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field, MBA preferred Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial role Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred) and SQL; familiarity with API integrations a plus. Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data automation. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders. Proven track record of building collaborative cross-functional relationships and influencing decisions. Proactive self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset, able to balance quick wins with long-term value creation. Demonstrated ability to contribute to a high-performance culture through independent ownership, process improvement, and mentoring junior team members. Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
