Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our analytical team. The successful candidate will support the characterization and quality assessment of protein and nucleic acid-based therapeutics using a variety of biochemical and molecular biology techniques. Responsibilities
Perform routine and non-routine analysis of samples using: Plate reader-based assays (e.g., absorbance, fluorescence) Western blotting for detection and quantification Prepare reagents, buffers, and samples according to SOPs and protocols Maintain accurate and timely documentation in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems Analyze and interpret data, and present findings in team meetings Collaborate with cross-functional teams including upstream, downstream Assist in method development, optimization, and troubleshooting Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field A minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting Proficiency in gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, western blotting, and plate-based assays Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications
Experience with plasmid DNA quantification Familiarity with GLP/GMP environments Knowledge of data analysis software (e.g., ImageJ) Location and Schedule
This is a fully onsite role in Andover, MA Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week Please note
