Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Platform Engineer (P4-P5) to develop and execute DevOps strategies to ensure the security of digital health applications. The role drives innovation and continuous improvement in software development, deployment, and operations, supports the adoption of cloud-native technologies and containerization platforms to modernize application architecture, and monitors security events and incidents. Responsibilities

Develop and execute DevOps strategies to ensure the security of digital health applications. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development, deployment, and operations. Support the adoption of cloud-native technologies and containerization platforms to modernize application architecture. Monitor and analyze security events and incidents. Perform selection, deployment, and configuration of security tools and technologies for vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and incident response. Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing cloud resources securely. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with automation, configuration management, and deployment of cloud infrastructure. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with designing and implementing security processes and workflows to streamline software deployment and operations. 5 years of experience with monitoring and logging tools, containerization (including AWS Fargate), and orchestration. 5 years of experience with implementing and configuring version control systems. 5 years of experience with CI/CD tools and IaC tools for automated provisioning and management of cloud resources. 5 years of experience with AWS networking and configuration. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $178,395. Full-time employees are eligible for a company bonus (depending on company and individual performance).
