We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Part-Time HR Generalist
to support various human resources functions, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, and recruitment support. This role is ideal for someone with a broad HR background who is comfortable managing day-to-day HR tasks in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Maintain and update employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in administering benefits, leaves of absence, and compliance with labor laws. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations and exit interviews. Participate in employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive workplace culture. Assist with performance review processes and track training and development activities. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and coordinate interview logistics. Conduct initial phone screens and help evaluate candidates for culture and role fit. Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure timely communication with candidates. Assist with offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or coordinator role, with recruiting exposure. Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws. Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Lever, etc.) is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus but not required. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. Work Schedule
