Our unique peer-to-peer model allows Pickle to have the coolest and freshest fashion out there. We're seeking a highly technical, high-ownership, and results-driven Senior Frontend Engineer to help build the Pickle mobile and web applications. This role will be pivotal in building features and improving performance in the applications that our customers rely on every day. If you’re passionate about building beautiful and highly performant applications, and love working in fast-paced startup environments, this is a great opportunity to have a significant impact on our business.
Responsibilities
Frontend engineering within our mobile app (React Native)
Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
Develop high-quality and highly performant production code and review code written by others
Monitor support tickets to fix bugs and instruct new development to reduce customer support outreach
5+ years of professional work experience as a frontend engineer
Proficient in React Native
Experience working on an engineering team at a start up
Extensive knowledge of modern web development technologies, frameworks, and architecture
Collaborative working style with a strong focus on execution and results. Comfortable with a fast paced environment
Ideal Candidate
Experience working with native Swift and Objective-C code
Experience working with React
Experience working with GraphQL and REST APIs
Experience building consumer marketplace or e-commerce applications
