We're seeking a

Server Vulnerability & Patch Management Engineer

to drive system hardening, patch automation, and remediation initiatives across enterprise infrastructure. The role focuses on maintaining secure and compliant server environments through proactive vulnerability monitoring, patch lifecycle management, and collaboration with global infrastructure and security teams. Key Responsibilities

Administer and optimize

automated patching workflows

for Windows and Linux servers, ensuring timely deployment of critical updates. Coordinate with packaging and engineering teams to

test and validate software packages

before deployment in production. Perform

on-demand patching and vulnerability remediation , including software removal or configuration adjustments. Develop and implement

Group Policies and configuration baselines

to strengthen operating system and application security. Track, analyze, and report vulnerabilities across

physical, virtual, and cloud-based server environments , ensuring accurate risk visibility. Partner with infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity teams to

plan and execute remediation campaigns

and compliance initiatives. Evaluate

legacy systems or end-of-life software components , documenting remediation strategies and upgrade paths. Leverage

vulnerability management and log analysis tools

(e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Splunk) to proactively identify risks and verify remediation. Maintain comprehensive

technical documentation, dashboards, and audit evidence

supporting patch and vulnerability management processes. Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with

endpoint configuration and patch management platforms

(e.g., Microsoft MECM/SCCM, Ansible, or equivalent). Solid knowledge of

Windows Server

and

Linux/Unix

operating systems and administration best practices. Proficiency with

Active Directory

management,

Group Policy

creation, and security hardening techniques. Working familiarity with

vulnerability assessment and SIEM tools

such as Qualys, Nessus, or Splunk. Understanding of

virtualization technologies

(VMware, Hyper-V) and lifecycle maintenance for on-prem and virtual infrastructure. Excellent

communication and collaboration

skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable remediation plans.
