Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity. The Electric Transmission System Operations Center is looking for an Operations Consultant to facilitate the most complex work sequences between the various projects in congested areas of the system. The electric transmission system is currently experiencing unprecedented growth. The system is expected to double in capacity served in the next 10-15 years. This individual will work independently to consolidate work outages, organize project schedules, and facilitate outage sequences to maximize construction activities. Job Summary

The individual will be developing and coordinating outage sequences with ET Senior Leadership and Project Managers, as well as coordinating with PJM on outage reliability sequencing. This role effectively interfaces with all stakeholders such as System Operators, ET Construction and Operations, PJM outage schedulers, ET Project Managers, Generation Operators, Electric Cooperatives, Interconnected companies, as well as the Regional Operations Centers. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Minimum of 12+ years directly related electric transmission experience. Strong knowledge of capital transmission work construction methods. Knowledge of transmission line and substation O&M procedures and designs to facilitate temporary designs. Demonstrated record of safe operating practices. Ability to travel to all regions of the system and operate safely in those environments. Knowledge of SOC clearances and tagging procedures. Demonstrated communication skills including written, oral, and presentations. Advanced knowledge of electrical theory. Strong demonstrated leadership skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment. Knowledge of transmission protection and islanding schemes preferred. Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education Disciplines Preferred: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology Working Conditions
