Lockheed Martin is seeking a Mission Architect (MA) for a new RF program. The MA is the technical SME who defines how to achieve the mission by mapping relationships and dependencies between mission elements, and:
As the Mission SME, is the primary individual responsible for customer engagement on mission requirements and technical performance.
Develops concept of operations, mission needs, operational user community needs.
Develops key performance measures, as appropriate, subject to cost and schedule constraints and factors.
Develops models and architectural guidelines for system development.
Maintains knowledge of current technologies and design and analysis methodologies.
Responsible for modeling and simulation, performance analysis, quantitative methods.
Monitors changes in stakeholder needs and evaluates impact on the architecture; evaluates the impacts of architecture changes to stakeholder needs.
This is an SR CAREER (level 5) ROLE where candidates typically require 9 years of professional experience and a BS degree.
Selected candidate will be required to possess an Active TS/SCI security clearance for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience architecting RF hardware and software for efficient performance
Experience interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders communicating the capabilities of the systems, and identify risks and mitigation plans
Strong integration skills and experience in end to end systems
Familiarity with RF Ground Stations and associated Command and Control, Mission Management Software
Familiarity with DoDAF, MODAF, or UAF
Familiarity with UML, SysML, or UAFML and associated modeling tools, e.g., CAMEO
An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration.
Desired Skills:
Experience designing and delivering RF ground stations with associated hardware and software
Experience with DevSecOps, AI/ML, and/or Cyber Security
Experience in Agile development, cloud-based architecture
Experience translating user needs or requirements into system CONOPS
Experience applying system architecture trades and analysis techniques
Experience with systems engineering milestone reviews including SRR, PDR, or CDR
Experience analyzing and optimizing operational and organizational concepts, requirements, models, architectures, and workflows
Ability to drive coordinated resolution to issues across multiple work locations and organizational structure, including with remote team members
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily project operations
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Business capture process experience, architecture definition, baseline control and writing bases of estimates

9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. Benefits offered:
