Shipping & Receiving

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare document for shipment including bill of lading, any export documentation, packing list, photos of shipments and any other documentation required
2. Determine proper methods for packing and labeling material for shipment
3. Ensure material is unpacked and examined upon incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
4. Enter receiving data into ERP system (Dynamics AX 2012)
5. Operate overhead crane, pallet jack, and forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment, may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments
6. Route items to departments
7. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
8. Unload and sorting of various fabrications and details, while matching to prints
9. Support the manufacturing strategy and continually drive efforts to streamline shipping and receiving activities
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures
11. Ensure compliance with safety procedures
12. All other duties as assigned

1. 1+ years of related shipping/receiving experience
2. Experience with an ERP System, Microsoft AX preferred
3. High School Diploma or GED
4. Great attention to detail
5. Ability to safely drive a forklift
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
7. Strong written and oral communication skills
8. Ability to multi-task, while maintaining organization
9. Data entry skills
10. Ability to read, write and complete basic math
