Our company is seeking a skilled principal software developer to help with the development of many projects that span different technologies and requirements. You will be working with a motivated team in a fast-paced environment. This role will provide technical leadership while collaborating with Business and Product teams on the vision-setting through to the implementation of the next level of our advisor digital platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of deep customization, scalability and a streamlined experience for LPL advisors and LPL-affiliated institutions. You will also handle more complex coding tasks, and guiding the team through design and architecture discussions. You will participate in strategic meetings like sprint planning and retrospectives, monitor overall project progress, ensure smooth code deployment, and provide mentorship to senior and junior developers alike. Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation and development of software solutions for internal and external customers. Provide technical leadership through technical design and implementation of industry best practices adhering to LPL’s modernization practices, cloud practices, SDLC, and release management processes. Implement application resiliency, scalability and performance design. Architect and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions on AWS using modern technologies Champion infrastructure as code using Terraform and cloud automation Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architecture, data, product and business partners to build a product vision, manage expectations, deliver value-add solutions and support translation of problem statements into system requirements. Manage multiple concurrent teams and initiatives using Agile/scrum methodologies. Use customer and business feedback to inform roadmaps and non-functional goals. Required Skills:

10+ years of professional software development experience in design and implementing complex systems in a full range of standard development platforms (Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Angular, Web APIs, AWS stack, Python) 5+ years in technical team leadership capacity 3+ years of experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS using EKS, API gateway, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Postgres and S3 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka. DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development Strong understanding of SOA principles and design patterns and hands on experience in SQL server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning Experience leveraging AI and AI-power tools like Copilot Core Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently. Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools. Pay Range:

$155,288-$258,813/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Company Overview:
