Overview
The Learning and Development Manager is a strategic partner responsible for designing, curating, and delivering engaging learning experiences across all levels of the organization. This role promotes a culture of continuous growth and development by leveraging technology, data insights, and strong stakeholder relationships to build scalable and impactful learning solutions. Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Program Design: Develop and implement comprehensive learning solutions from concept to execution. Design training programs aligned with adult learning principles and business objectives. Curate and package digital learning resources to support employee development. Content Development & Delivery: Create and manage training materials including job aids, videos, eLearning modules, and assessments. Conduct behavioral assessments (e.g., DISC, MBTI) and facilitate team development sessions. Deliver training through multiple modalities: in-person, virtual, and vendor-led. Leadership & Talent Development: Define and execute a leadership development roadmap. Lead the design and implementation of programs that build leadership capabilities and support succession planning. Stakeholder Engagement & Consultation: Build and maintain a network of internal subject matter experts (SMEs). Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to identify learning needs and tailor solutions. Provide training consultation to support change management initiatives. Technology & Learning Systems: Serve as the Workday Learning LMS Administrator. Leverage innovative tools and platforms to enhance learning engagement and accessibility. Establish frameworks to measure learning effectiveness and impact. Develop and launch implementation plans for learning programs; maintain employee and manager references. Vendor & Resource Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants. Ensure alignment of third-party solutions with internal learning goals. Success Metrics: Measure training adoption, engagement rates, and training outcomes. Measure ROI and impact of learning initiatives. Qualifications
Proven experience in learning and development, instructional design, and organizational development. Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional methodologies. Experience with LMS administration (Workday Learning strongly preferred) Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to assess outcomes and analyze data translating insights into actionable learning strategies. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Strong presentation, facilitation, and moderation skills. Experience developing, designing, and leading leadership development programs. Experience designing and delivering employee orientation. Experience delivering in-person and virtual training using multiple technologies. Experience administering a Learning Management System (Workday Learning, strongly preferred). Experience with eLearning development and/or course building experience with various authoring tools; Captivate, Articulate, etc. Ability to design and develop presentations and learning aids in a creative, succinct, graphic, and effective manner using various graphic design tools. Ability to assess outcomes using various levels of evaluation. Design and implement surveys to gauge learning success (Survey Monkey, JotForm, Google Forms). Proficiency in Excel. Knowledge and experience conducting needs assessment. Certification and experience with assessments and 360 tools (such as, DiSC, Meyers Briggs, Hogan). Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Education, Leadership Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Adult Learning, or related field. 5 years experience in a learning and development role; developing, designing, and facilitating programs. 5 years experience developing, designing, and facilitating leadership development programs. 5 years management/leadership experience. Project Management Experience.
