Lead Financial Services Analyst (Hybrid)

The University of California, Merced is seeking a Lead Financial Services Analyst (LFSA) to provide financial management support to faculty and staff in the School of Engineering. The LFSA will perform high-level budget and resource analysis, retrieve data from the campus's financial systems, and prepare comprehensive reports for faculty and school management. Responsibilities: Provide financial management support to faculty and staff in the School of Engineering. Perform high-level budget and resource analysis. Retrieve data from the campus's financial systems. Prepare comprehensive reports for faculty and school management. Ensure financial reporting needs are compliant with federal and state requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area. Five years of directly related, progressively responsible experience working in finance, budgeting, accounting, or equivalent experience. Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies, and procedures. Strong proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
