Under direct supervision, acquires skills and knowledge of professional concepts in research data analysis. Works on small projects or segments of projects with limited scope and complexity. The RA will perform entry-level duties related to supporting, developing, and testing an intervention for a project led by JiWon Choi, PhD, RN, an associate professor in the Institute for Health & Aging at UCSF. The RA should be fluent in Korean and English and will work on developing and testing an intervention. The project aims: to develop key components of the intervention to increase knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRDs) and to enhance caregiving skills, and to assess the feasibility and acceptability of the intervention in a pilot trial among Korean American family care partners of persons living with dementia. The RA will assist in research-related tasks related to the development and testing of the intervention under the supervision of Dr. Choi. Ideal candidates have a nursing, public health, or psychology background and must be bilingual in English and Korean. Evening and weekend shifts will be required to accommodate participants’ schedules. The RA will perform other duties as assigned by the PI. This position will last until July 30, 2026. The final salary and offer components are subject to UC policy. Placement within the salary range depends on experience and internal equity. For represented positions, placement will follow the collective bargaining agreement rules. The salary range is $63,700 – $84,000 (Annual). The Institute for Health & Aging is an organized research unit at UCSF conducting research, training, and public service in aging, health, and health policy. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training Proficient bilingual ability in Korean and English Foundational knowledge of research functions and ability to perform research analysis duties Foundational skills in statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design for research analysis duties Effective time management and ability to complete assigned parts of projects on deadline Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) Experience with REDCap or other data collection systems Social science or behavioral health research experience Research experience/training in qualitative and quantitative methods Experience with IRB submission Ability to abstract data from medical records and transfer to databases Experience working with community and academic partners outside UCSF About UCSF
