Tenet Healthcare Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Responsibilities Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotating through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma. Assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma. Qualifications Education : Required — Graduate of an accredited imaging program; Preferred — Bachelor’s degree. Experience : Required — 2 years of experience in an acute care setting. Certifications : Required — American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Radiology Technologist (CRT); American Heart Association BLS; State license, as required. Physical Demands : As applicable to the role.
