Job Description
Term Faculty (Non-Tenure Track) – School of Accountancy & MIS (25-26) The School of Accountancy & MIS (SOAMIS) in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago invites applications for a full-time term (non-tenure track) faculty position in academic year 2025-2026. Successful candidates will be expected to teach nine courses during an academic year at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in accounting including financial accounting, auditing, tax, data analytics depending on their areas of expertise. In addition, they will be expected to perform service activities such as advising students, serving on committees and activities that enhance programs and student experiences.
Qualifications
Master\'s degree in Accounting or a related field At least 5 years of professional experience or prior teaching Ability to teach on-campus classes including evening classes Excellent communication skills CPAs are preferred

Compensation and Benefits
Salary information: The salary range for this 10-month position is $70,000 - $92,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. DePaul University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, education, experience, training, scope and responsibilities, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. DePaul University offers benefits including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, and tuition benefit. Except for the College of Law, DePaul University operates on a quarter system. Classes in Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters are 11 weeks in length (including finals week) and Summer courses, in two sessions, are typically 5 weeks in length. The College of Law operates on the semester system. Classes in the Fall and Spring semesters are 16 weeks in length (including finals week) and it offers a Summer Session of 7 weeks (including final exams).
