As the Vice President, Energy and Utilities, you will be responsible for driving the strategic growth, technical excellence and client engagement for the Energy and Utilities Market. The role combines market leadership, business development and technical oversight.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Minimum 15 years construction management experience in energy and utilities
Familiarity and strong relationships with local market, contractors, A/E firms and clients
Excellent technical writing, verbal communication and presentation skills
Proven leadership in managing complex energy programs
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Salary and Benefits Salary range for this position is $230,000 – $290,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.

Responsibilities
Focus on leadership and management of mega-projects and major programs for Hill’s clients. These projects and programs are aligned to the strategic markets and underlying business objectives of the firm
Serves as the Hill central point of contact, functional leader and senior subject matter expert in program management
Identify and evaluate market trends, emerging technologies and developments for strategic planning and business positioning
Identify and pursue new business, client and project opportunities within the energy market
Establish positive client and partner relationships through successful networking and presentations
Utilize market research, competitor analysis, professional conferences, and other means to identify potential new markets and ways to grow in current markets
Assist in the development and implementation of effective teaming strategies
Assess staffing abilities and identify strategic hires necessary to achieve company goals
Support recruiting and management of project staff
Provide project management and construction management services
Develops and advocates for a Hill program management framework that establishes program management standards, common tools, systems and processes consistent with industry best practices and highlighting and building upon Hill current and past program management portfolio and track record of success
