Join a dynamic team of Neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers in providing exceptional care to the Coachella Valley community at an exciting Level 1 trauma center in beautiful Palm Springs, California. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to assist in the management of inpatient consults, as well as provide support in the outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities

Shifts: 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours. One weekend per month. Inpatient Consults: Assist with the evaluation and management of inpatient neurosurgery consults. Assist with elective and emergent surgery. Clinic: APP provides care of post op and elective patients in the outpatient clinic. Overtime: Ample opportunity for additional hours and overtime. Salary Range: 150,000 - 176,800 Join Our Team

Work alongside 2 full-time neurosurgeons, 2 part-time neurosurgeons, and 3 advanced practice providers in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Current certification as a Physician Assistant (NP/PA) with experience in neurosurgery or a related field preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality patient care. Physician Assistant license to practice in the state. CPR Certified. DEA registration with state. Education

Graduate of an approved and accredited Physician Assistant master’s program. Certification and Experience

Physician Assistant license to practice in the state. CPR Certified. DEA registration with state. Highly prefer two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant. Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources. Adheres to the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement. Demonstrates support for the Tenet Corporate Compliance Program and adheres to applicable laws and policies. Provide physician assistant services to patients as directed by the physician’s patient care plan and supervised by the physician. Ensure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities in accordance with TPR policy. Fulfill all duties assigned by physician; report injuries or adverse reactions during or after treatment. Participate in patient review conferences and staffing; assist in Utilization Review, Quality Assurance, Program Evaluation, Infection Control, and Safety activities. Order medications and interpret laboratory tests as part of examination and health management. Perform and oversee testing and other appropriate procedures. Conduct health teaching and counseling; provide consultative direction for staff as needed. Compensation

Salary range listed: 150,000 - 176,800. Individual wages determined based on qualifications and experience. Calculated based on a full-time position. Per collaborative agreement. Seniority level
