Overview Stamford Hospital is seeking a passionate and experienced OB/GYN physician to lead our resident-based outpatient clinic as

Director of Outpatient OB/GYN Services . This is a unique opportunity to shape clinical care, resident education, and program development within a dynamic, university-affiliated community hospital. Stamford Health is an independent, physician-led community hospital, and a major educational affiliate of the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University with a free-standing OB/GYN residency training program.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the OB/GYN resident outpatient clinic

Mentor residents in patient care, professionalism, and evidence-based practice

Collaborate with subspecialists in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Family Planning

Build a focused gynecology practice within our Women’s Specialty Center

Lead the development of a comprehensive Menopause & Midlife Health Program

Participate in building a referral-based gynecologic surgical practice with mentorship

Contribute to quality, safety, and patient-centered initiatives in outpatient women’s health

Qualifications

MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure

Strong commitment to resident teaching and academic growth

Interest or experience in menopause and midlife women’s health strongly preferred

Stamford, CT is under an hour to NYC, via car and commuter rail, and ranked the 2nd largest city in Connecticut.
