Recruiting Specialist Job at MV Transportation in Baltimore

We are excited to welcome a Recruiting Coordinator to our team! Join us in our efforts to attract top talent at MV Transportation. You will play an essential role in our recruitment process in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source applicants through advertisements, outreach, and databases.
• Make 50-100 calls per day to connect with potential candidates.
• Attend local job fairs, community events, trade schools, and organizational visits to promote job opportunities.
• Schedule and coordinate training classes for new hires.
• Maintain and update the applicant database for accuracy.
• Assist with onboarding new applicants to ensure a smooth transition.
• Generate reports and track recruitment metrics as needed.
• Communicate regularly with division management and the Regional Recruiter to align on recruitment efforts.
• Provide daily reports to the HR Manager, Recruiter, and Regional Recruiter.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Meticulous attention to detail and timely updates for applicants.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Prior experience in HR or recruiting is preferred.
