Overview Executive Recruiting Director role at Microsoft. This is an individual contributor position within the Global Executive Talent Acquisition team, focused on partnering with executive leaders across the company to recruit senior and technical leadership talent. Location options include Redmond, WA or Mountain View, CA with an on-site requirement of three days per week. Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement: Use data and business requirements to advise on talent gaps and guide end-to-end executive hiring plans; influence leaders to consider a broad range of talent. Data Analysis: Analyze data and trends to inform executive hiring discussions; lead executive hiring projects for complex organizations and talent pools addressing short- and long-term needs. Candidate Attraction: Differentiate Microsoft’s career opportunities and leverage storytelling to attract senior executives; coach senior leaders to represent Microsoft’s unique advantages. Candidate Experience: Build long-term relationships with communities, maintain an always-on approach to talent scouting, manage the candidate assessment framework, and partner with Total Rewards to design and deliver offers; mitigate factors that may negatively impact candidates. Operational Compliance & Excellence: Maintain documentation in staffing systems within compliance guidelines and leverage data to inform insights. Other: Embody Microsoft culture and values. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years in talent acquisition, HR, or related field; or equivalent experience. 8+ years of executive recruiting experience in Engineering/AI. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years in talent acquisition or Master’s Degree and 12+ years in talent acquisition; or equivalent experience. Sustained track record of executive talent acquisition success within technology or related industries. Ability to communicate at the highest level with stakeholders, partners, prospects, and candidates. Experience executing executive talent acquisition at scale in complex environments; autonomy in ambiguous, global contexts. Ability to deliver results while fostering growth for others. Talent Acquisition IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There are location-based variations; in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro area the base pay range is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
