We are seeking a
Counsel, Global Supply Chain & Commercial Contracts
to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and services. The successful candidate will be an independent thinker and team player, with the ability to be a strong strategic partner with clients and to provide business-friendly legal advice to company leaders. The role reports to the General Counsel and is located in Odgen, UT, Irvine, CA or San Diego, CA. Responsibilities
Lead the transformation of the Revelyst supply chain organization to identify and execute strategies for more efficient operations. Apply legal frameworks in partnership with Finance and Supply Chain to develop a global legal strategy, including standard terms and conditions, MSAs, and SOWs with vendors. Monitor developments in the supply chain and logistics industry and advise on changes to supplier/vendor terms to strengthen Revelyst’s position. Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations and case decisions related to supply chain management, including international trade, ESG, product safety and quality, data privacy and security, anti-corruption, and bribery. Advise on risk and implications to commercial terms and agreements; provide legal advice to other departments as required. Structure and oversee global legal best practices, contract lifecycle governance, and document management across software and service suppliers/vendors. Establish contract expiration processes by category with reminders, owners, actions and risk management. Provide legal review and drafting for procurement of goods and services, ensuring consistency with business terms, policies, and regulatory requirements. Negotiate long-term agreements with strategic suppliers to secure best value. Coordinate signing authorities and governance processes for Supply Chain contracts. Review and revise policies, procedures and training materials; develop and deliver legal training on substantive topics. Proactively negotiate and review enterprise-level contracts beyond the Supply Chain function as needed. Coordinate and track management of all contracts in the central legal database. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school with at least five (5) years of relevant experience, including in-house. Experience reviewing and negotiating complex strategic sourcing contracts (direct, indirect, and logistics). Experience in negotiating strategy development and strong business acumen. Ability to manage and motivate remote teams and work effectively in a matrixed organization. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; decisive with strong negotiation ability. International experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: Annual Salary $200,000.00 – $225,000.00. The actual salary will be based on experience, location, education, and skills, and will be mutually agreed upon at offer.
