Provide general administrative and clerical support. Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor. Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls. Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations; inform other employees of visitors\' arrivals and cancellations. Maintain visitor sign in log. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings. Maintain and tidy the reception area. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information. This position has no supervisor responsibilities.

Maintain visitor sign-in log
Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings
Maintain and tidy the reception area
Perform other duties as assigned
Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information
Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure
Qualification Education and/or Experience
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED
Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions and multiline phone system.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk, read or hear. Frequent use of all office equipment including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
