The Team Lead provides guidance and direct feedback to all team members within assigned tasks. This position will focus on Quality Assurance for both incoming products and outgoing orders. They ensure that proper processes are followed and that errors are addressed quickly. They assist in training of new and present employees and the upkeep of the Distribution Center. What You Will Do
Work and collaborate with leadership team for process improvements and provide support throughout the DC. Maintain databases for QA up to date, such as but not limited to Incoming Inspection Database, Final Inspection Data, Scrap Report up to date. Run, analyze and follow through daily and weekly reports. Must be able to perform ALL the duties and responsibilities of a Quality Inspector with the QA Manager’s guidance, lead the Quality Assurance Team. Keep attendance records, manage and organize schedule and rotating assignments. Efficiently monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping of products ensuring they meet company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Operate required machinery with specified departments, which may include cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers. Follow & meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, & efficiency. Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages. Maintain required processed/procedure audits. Train in customer service duties as required. Monitor and train new hires to ensure optimal productivity and quality. Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center. Follow SOPs, safety rules, and regulations; act professionally and contribute to a safe working environment. Performs other duties as assigned and be willing to cross train. What We're Looking For
Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and speak English. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery. Must be comfortable using electronic devices. Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation. Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately. Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information. Must be flexible with start and departure time changing. Ability to work overtime when needed. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Responsible for any additional duties assigned. Physical Demands
In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for 8+ hour shifts. The position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near and far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing. Working Environment
Warehouse environment with conditions ranging from warm to cool. Around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
