IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, focuses on private‑sector development in emerging markets. The MAS Global Analytics unit is seeking an Operations Analyst to provide informational and analytical support to MAS management and cross‑cutting teams.

Responsibilities

Extract and analyze data from IFC MIS, preparing dashboards and reports for MAS management (e.g., portfolio reviews, RAROC, P&L, equity performance, new business pipeline, KPI tracking).

Coordinate with CPM, CSIAR, and IT to develop dashboards, resolve data quality issues, and ensure consistency across tools.

Maintain MASREPORTS SharePoint, upload reports, and conduct periodic data quality checks.

Support operations process improvements and related IT initiatives.

Respond to ad‑hoc requests from sector directors and senior management with research and data analysis.

Support KM&L activities: develop, update, and disseminate knowledge products, manage the MAS Knowledge Assets database, and assist in learning sessions.

Provide analytical and programmatic support for operations improvements and IT projects.

Assist in preparing training sessions on dashboards, reports, and tools for staff.

Other MAS portfolio related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field with ≥2 years of reporting/analytics experience; or Bachelor’s with ≥4 years of experience.

Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; aptitude for learning new tools.

Experience with AI‑enabled tools preferred.

Strong data visualization storytelling skills.

Excellent organizational, administrative, and time‑management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

High accuracy and attention to detail.

Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Commitment to ethical standards.

Knowledge of IFC portfolio systems (IRP, iPortal, EPMS, ODS, BI, Cognos, Cubes) or strong relevant experience is a plus.
