Wake Forest University School of Medicine Position Details

The Department of Ophthalmology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine is recruiting an Academic Faculty Physician to join the Glaucoma Division. Highlights include a collaborative environment with a growing clinical and surgical volume and a regional catchment area. The glaucoma division currently includes three glaucoma specialists and one faculty member with pediatric and pediatric glaucoma training. The department trains ophthalmology residents, vitreoretinal fellows, and cornea fellows, with plans to add a glaucoma fellow in the upcoming year. The department emphasizes education, clinical research, and service, including international medical outreach and local vision health initiatives. Training and/or Experience Required

MD or MD/PhD Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology Completion of fellowship training in medical and surgical glaucoma North Carolina unrestricted medical licensure or eligible Benefits
