Responsibilities The Utility Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

Overseeing all aspects of utility projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and completion.

Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and staff, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Developing project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Identifying and managing project risks and issues, and devising contingency plans when necessary.

Ensuring that all project documentation, including contracts, plans, and permits, are in order.

Supervising and guiding project teams, and providing training and support as needed.

Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure that project goals are met.

Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to design and implement utility systems.

Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure that work is progressing as planned and that quality standards are being met.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on utilities and civil construction.

Extensive knowledge of dry and wet utilities, site development, grading, and utility design.

Proven experience managing complex projects, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

A thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and industry standards.

A professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is preferred but not required.
