Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day content production and programming efforts for flagship WWE social media platforms

Pitch and generate original content and copy for WWE’s owned and operated accounts across platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads and WhatsApp

Ensure all WWE social content is optimized for each platform

Curate vertical video content across WWE social media platforms during live broadcasts and drive conversation among fans on X

Perform other content and programming duties including content calendar management, social content approvals and advising internal partners on best social media practices

Collaborate with peers and across teams to produce promotional content for WWE’s broadcast programming, digital properties and podcast network

Coordinate with digital design, photography, editorial and video production teams to support daily content creation

Monitor WWE social media content performance and identify trends in the larger digital media space

Implement paid social media campaigns across Facebook, TikTok and Instagram

Independently generate grammatically accurate and polished copy with minimal edits required

Keep current with WWE programming, storylines, talent, brands and products

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in social media programming, preferably in the sports, entertainment and/or television industries

Background in content creation, copywriting and collaborating in the social media space with a proven ability to conceive and produce highly engaging content

Strong editorial judgment with proven track record of independently conceiving and publishing compelling content across multiple platforms

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Experience working with content, social management and publishing systems (Emplifi, Grabyo, Smartly, Capcut, etc.)

Must be organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multitasking skills, with an ability to thrive under pressure

Must be able to work rotating, non-traditional schedule, including select nights and weekends

Working knowledge of WWE shows and talent strongly preferred

Impeccable grammar and diction required

Experience with paid social and Ads Manager preferred

Familiarity with analytic tools and metric tracking (e.g. Emplifi, Blinkfire etc.)
