Jefferson County Stone - Rogers Group Inc - Louisville, KY

Full-Time

Day Shift: 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Wages starting at $23.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train.

person for our operation located in

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to: General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operations Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences and increased production demand times Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, etc.) Operate equipment, including but not limited to skid steer and loader. Experience is preferred. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time throughout the workday. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment safely. Must have sufficient hand-eye coordination to operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely. Report equipment problems and identify them to management. Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines Complete equipment pre-shift report - if applicable Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS:

Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment Ability to maintain safe working conditions Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned Ability to learn quickly Must be willing to work weekends and overtime Must pass pre-employment drug screen Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.
