Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions in both hospital and ambulatory settings.
Perform open-heart, lung and vascular surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic aneurysm repair and lung resections.
Utilize robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
Manage preoperative & postoperative care including ICU rounds and outpatient follow-ups.
Collaborate with cardiologists, pulmonologists and vascular surgeons and advanced practice clinicians to develop treatment plans.
Participate in ambulatory clinics evaluating new consultations, follow-up patients, and surgical candidates.
Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
EPIC system-wide.
Call 1:2 APC support provided in OR & ICU settings to improve workflow efficiency and patient care.
Two Da Vinci XI Robots available.

Advanced certifications in ACLS and ECMO management.
