Job Description Salary: $25-$35 per group Hope Harbor Wellness is an Outpatient treatment facility serving individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. Our organization and its affiliates are seeking a qualified Art Therapist to conduct group therapy sessions for our clients, using a variety of art based therapies that are engaging and fulfilling for our clients!

Responsibilities Provide therapeutic art services to clients in a group setting Ability to use creative techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, and other forms of visual arts, to help clients express their emotions, process trauma, and improve psychological well-being Conducts recreation therapy groups, as scheduled, and document patients participation and progress toward individual treatment goals outlined Monitor and evaluate client progress Collaborates with the Program Manager to conduct recreation therapy treatment activities including leisure education, pet therapy, creative expression, outdoor

education/recreation,

art, and community reintegration. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the treatment team to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary Document session in the EMR (Electronic Medical Record system) Qualifications Preferred: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in occupational therapy, art, music, recreational therapy, humanities, or movement therapy Preferred: Masters degree preferred. Certification or licensure by the state of Georgia and/or national governing body in the following areas: art, occupational, recreation, or music therapy Preferred: Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders and/or mental health disorders Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Requirements Certified Music Therapist or Art Therapist Current CTRS certification, or be scheduled to sit for certification exam within three months of hire
