We're seeking an innovative and experienced Creative Director to lead our Online Grocery creative team, driving digital-first creative solutions through automation, AI integration, and operational excellence. This role will shape the future of how we communicate with customers across Amazon's grocery ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of writers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation and creative excellence.

Pioneer the development and implementation of GenAI and automated creative solutions to scale creative operations.

Establish and optimize creative review mechanisms and workflows across Amazon NA and Whole Foods teams.

Drive standardization and templatization of creative assets while maintaining brand quality.

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive creative strategies that drive business results.

Identify and implement efficiency opportunities through tooling and automation.

Own the end-to-end creative process, from conceptualization to execution and measurement.

Lead testing and iteration of creative approaches to optimize performance.

A Day in the Life

Oversee creative reviews.

Develop creative concepts to solve business problems.

Lead and coach team members.

Build processes.

Find efficiencies through GenAI and tooling.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in‑house creative team.

Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote.

Experience developing cross‑functional relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams to create strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions.

Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery.

Experience managing a creative team (designers, copywriters, external agencies, freelancers).

Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives.

Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market to $210,300/year in our highest. Pay is based on a number of factors including location and may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon provides equity, sign‑on payments, and other compensation as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
