Property Damage Litigation Attorney. An established and growing Colorado law firm is seeking a skilled and dedicated attorney with significant experience in first-party homeowner property claims to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in representing policyholders in disputes with insurance carriers and a deep commitment to protecting the rights of homeowners. This role requires a proven track record of success in handling claims involving hail, wind, fire, water damage, and other property-related perils. Qualifications : Full-time 2+ years of litigation experience - First Party Property Damage experience is a plus Member of the Colorado Bar and in good standing Stay abreast of developments in Colorado insurance law and property claims Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims from inception to resolution. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis. Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives. Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration. Represent clients in court, including trials and hearings, as needed. Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and clear explanations of legal strategies. Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys. Benefits
