We're hiring an experienced leader to join our founding team as Head of School (Director) as we open a new school in the San Ramon, CA area!

The Head of School Position
We seek a leader who shares our passion for the Montessori method and has the talent and perseverance to grow enrollment, attract and retain excellent staff, build a strong parent community, and ensure the highest standards of education for each child. As the Head of School, you will provide leadership to the entire campus team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing a strategic plan for the campus
Creating a strong culture that embodies our mission
Building a vibrant community among staff, parents, and children
Ensuring delivery of an exceptional program
Managing campus budget to meet profitability targets
Working with the Assistant Head of School to meet enrollment goals
Hiring, supporting, developing, and managing teaching staff

As a private, for-profit organization, this role does not involve fundraising or managing a Board of Directors
We'd love to talk with you if you possess:
A BA in Child Development or relevant permits such as Site Supervisor or Program Director
Leadership experience in early childhood education
Strong organizational skills and results-oriented focus
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to foster a warm and supportive team culture
Leadership qualities to make tough decisions with limited information
A passion for advancing education through the Montessori pedagogy
We will prefer you over other candidates if you have:
Experience teaching in early childhood education settings
Experience as an Admissions, Administrative, Program, or School Director for a preschool
Familiarity with the Montessori method or a Montessori certification
